Below are the T&C Official Rules for the Sweepstakes: 

DRIFT ULTIMATE CAR SWEEPSTAKES – OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

By participating in the Drift Ultimate Car Upgrade Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), you agree to comply with these Official Rules and the decisions of Drift ("Sponsor"), which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins on March 5, 2025, at 12:00 AM EST and ends on May 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST (the "Entry Period"). The winner will be announced on June 10, 2025.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their state of residence) at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, and directors of Drift, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) or household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

3. HOW TO ENTER

Participants may enter the Sweepstakes by posting engaging content on TikTok or Instagram (only these platforms are eligible).

Entry Requirements:

• Content must be original, engaging, and naturally performing, meaning the video must have organic engagement (likes, comments, shares) rather than paid promotion or artificial boosting.

• The content should focus on car struggles, old but reliable cars, or dream upgrades and align with humorous or trending themes.

• Participants must tag @driftgoods and use the hashtags #MyCarNeedsHelp and #DriftUltimateUpgrade to qualify.

• Only publicly visible posts will be considered.

• Limit: Five (5) entries per person. Use of multiple accounts to enter will result in disqualification.

4. FINALIST SELECTION & VOTING

• Drift’s internal team will select the top 5 finalists based on creativity, humor, and overall engagement of their submission.

• Each finalist will receive an Instagram Story asset to share with their audience, including a Typeform voting link for public voting.

• Voting will take place from June 1, 2025, to June 7, 2025.

• One vote per person will be allowed through the voting platform. Drift reserves the right to disqualify fraudulent votes (e.g., bot-generated or manipulated votes).

• Drift will also post finalist stories daily on its official account to encourage audience participation.

5. WINNER SELECTION & PRIZE DETAILS

• The winner will be announced on Instagram Stories on @driftgoods on June 10, 2025.

• The winner will be directly contacted via DM on the platform they entered with and must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. If no response is received, an alternate winner may be selected.

• The winner will receive a custom functional car upgrade of their choice (within budget) and a 2-step paint correction with a 4-5 year ceramic coating, in collaboration with a detailing business local to them.

Prize Value & Budget Breakdown

Total Budget: ~$21,500

• Car Upgrade: Up to $20,000 – Drift will cover a maximum of $20,000 toward the winner’s functional car upgrade. This may include modifications such as:

• New tires, suspension upgrades, brake enhancements, performance tuning, or interior tech upgrades.

• The final upgrade package must be approved by Drift to ensure feasibility and compliance with safety and legal standards.

• Drift will not cover costs beyond $20,000—any additional expenses must be paid by the winner.

• Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating: $1,500 (2-step paint correction and a 4-5 year ceramic coating package with a detailing service local to the winner).

6. TAXES & COMPLIANCE

• All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

• The winner will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9 and will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting the value of the prize.

• Winners are encouraged to consult a tax professional regarding any tax implications.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding.

• Drift reserves the right to disqualify any individual found tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules.

• Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, or misdirected entries.

• By participating, entrants agree to allow Drift to use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Drift, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of:

• Participation in the Sweepstakes

• Acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize

• Issues arising from the modifications/upgrades to the winner’s vehicle

Drift is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or mechanical failures resulting from modifications or detailing services.

9. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.

• Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, NY.

• Participants waive their right to a trial by jury or class action.

• If arbitration is deemed unenforceable under state laws, disputes will be resolved through small claims court in New York, NY.
